Qualifications

• BEng or Meng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience within the automotive, motorcycle, industrial or related engineering sectors.
• Experience in electrical or electronic component development, with a strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems, technical specifications, validation methods and testing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with suppliers and technical stakeholders and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and deliver electrical and electronic components, managing specifications, drawings, validation and release activities to meet quality, cost and timing targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure components meet technical, commercial, regulatory and performance requirements, supporting verification, validation and issue resolution.
• Work closely with suppliers to support component development, monitor deliverables and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate technical reviews, manage engineering queries, assess the impact of supplier changes, and elevate risks and issues as required.
• Technical Problem Solving: investigate and resolve component and system-level issues using structured problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing, validation and field investigations, driving lessons learned and continuous design improvement.
