Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Deputy Manager to support day-to-day management of complex care services across England. You will lead care teams, ensure high-quality person-centred care and maintain regulatory standards while supporting staff development and safe service delivery.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating shifts, promoting Positive Behaviour Support, and ensuring robust safeguarding practices. A strong leadership background in health and social care is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory/senior support roles within health and social care.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism or behavioural challenges.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; safeguarding and CQC knowledge.
• Experience implementing care plans and behavioural support strategies.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in daily operation of the service.
• Lead, motivate and develop Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and behavioural strategies are implemented.
• Monitor quality and consistency of care delivery.
• Assist with staff supervision, recruitment, induction and training.
• Support rota management and staffing allocation for safe service delivery.
• Promote PBS and person-centred approaches.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints as needed.
• Oversee record-keeping and documentation; support audits and compliance.
• Build relationships with families, external professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
