Job summary

Avery Healthcare is recruiting a Dementia Care Manager for Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. You will lead the Dementia Community, implement the dementia care strategy, and manage resources within a budget.

You will build relationships with residents and families, advocate for residents, collaborate with the Activities Team to deliver meaningful activities, and promote independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
• Knowledge of care services businesses and the UK health and social care market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dementia Community and manage resources within a budget.
• Ensure care plans are accurate and resident needs are reflected.
• Build caring relationships with residents and families and advocate for residents.
• Work with Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with dementia.
• Promote independence and maximise residents' quality of life.
