Avery Healthcare is seeking a Dementia Care Manager for Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will lead the Dementia Community and implement the care strategy, managing resources within a budget.

The role focuses on accurate, person-centred care plans, building strong relationships with residents and families, and collaborating with the Activities Team to provide meaningful activities while promoting residents’ independence and quality of life.

Formación

• Minimum of three years experience in a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards.
• Knowledge of care services businesses and the UK health and social care market.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Dementia Community and implement the dementia care strategy within budget.
• Ensure care plans are accurate, person-centred and reflect resident needs.
• Build caring relationships with residents and families; liaise with them respectfully.
• Work with Activities Team to develop meaningful activities and promote independence.
