Job summary

Avery Healthcare is recruiting a Dementia Care Manager for Barnet Grange Care Home in Barnet. You will oversee the Dementia Community, ensure the dementia care strategy is embedded, and manage resources within budget, while building strong relationships with residents and families.

You will work with the Activities Team to design meaningful activities, support staff participation, and advocate for residents’ best interests, aiming to maximise independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience in a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
• Knowledge of care services businesses and the UK health and social care market.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Dementia Community within a given budget and implement the dementia care strategy.
• Build caring relationships with residents and families, acting in the residents' best interests.
• Collaborate with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities for residents with Dementia.
• Promote a culture that enables residents to maximise independence and quality of life.
