Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, part of Willinbrook Healthcare and operated by Care Concern Group, seeks a Senior Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents with dementia and complex needs. You will manage your shift, supervise care colleagues, and ensure accurate records and safe care delivery, including medication administration.

The role requires SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable), medication competency, and proven experience leading a care team.

Qualificações

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care at minimum; Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience leading or supporting a care team in a care environment.
• Ability to support individuals with complex needs, including mental health.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Calm, patient and professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Support delivery of high quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor wellbeing.
• Ensure smooth shift operation and accurate record keeping.
• Guide and supervise Care Assistants and maintain effective team communication.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
