Job summary

Currys is seeking a senior technology leader to drive the Core Platforms behind iD Mobile, Currys Mobile and Multiplay, partnering across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Security and Commercial teams.

You’ll coach and grow delivery teams, shape the portfolio strategy, and own the domain roadmap and governance. The role balances customer value, regulatory obligations, resilience and cost, with a focus on predictable delivery in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technology domains with investment accountability.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial acumen across planning, tracking and forecasting.
• Knowledge of cloud-native/SaaS delivery, DevOps, CI/CD and SRE.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate portfolio prioritisation, planning and delivery in a complex matrix environment.
• Act as senior tech representative across governance forums; engage stakeholders for alignment.
• Own domain delivery strategy and roadmap translating business strategy into tech outcomes and OKRs.
• Lead portfolio and value-stream planning with transparent calls on value, capacity and risk.
• Maintain governance and executive reporting using outcome, flow, financial, and DORA measures.
• Own domain financial performance across £10-20m of investment and ROI forecasting.
• Lead delivery risk and compliance management, including security and data privacy obligations.
