Career Legal is recruiting a Senior MLS Delivery Manager to lead paralegal and legal delivery teams across Finance & Projects. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, shaping scalable delivery models for a global client base.

You will partner with senior lawyers and clients, drive utilisation and profitability, and guide technology adoption in a fast-evolving managed legal services environment.

We're partnered with a leading international law firm seeking a Senior MLS Delivery Manager to join its expanding Centre of Excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee several legal delivery teams across Finance & Banking and Construction & Projects, while helping shape how legal services are delivered to lawyers and clients globally.

You'll be responsible for helping develop the firm's wider Managed Legal Services offering, including:

• Managing multiple legal delivery teams and ensuring consistently high service levels
• Developing scalable legal service delivery models
• Leading people development, career frameworks and succession planning
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders and lawyers
• Supporting client solutions, RFPs and pitches
• Owning utilisation, profitability, forecasting, budgets and operational KPIs
• Driving process optimisation and continuous improvement
• Leading the adoption of legal technology and AI-enabled solutions
• Using data and operational insight to improve service delivery
• Supporting strategic workforce planning and team growth
• Directly managing paralegals where required

Requirements

• Strong experience managing paralegal or legal delivery teams
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and talent development
• A strong understanding of legal service delivery and operational efficiency
• Experience delivering transformation or continuous improvement projects
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders, lawyers and clients
• Commercial awareness and experience with budgets, forecasting and performance metrics
• An interest in how technology and AI can transform legal service delivery

Experience within finance, construction or projects would be particularly useful, including areas such as project finance, transaction/completion support, ancillary documentation, transaction bibles, investment funds or pensions.
