Job summary

Scrumconnect Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to oversee delivery across one or more Agile teams on a UK public sector programme. You will ensure delivery is well planned, coordinated and continuously improving, while services meet the GOV.UK Service Standard.

Operating at SFIA Level 5, you will lead and coach other delivery managers, work closely with senior civil servants and act as a recognised leader in Agile and Lean delivery practices.

Qualifications

• SC-cleared or SC-eligible.
• Experience delivering digital services per GOV.UK Service Standard.
• Experience supporting service assessments across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live.
• Delivery Manager at SFIA Level 5 with leadership/mentoring experience.
• Strong Agile and Lean delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams.
• Experience in government governance structures and collaboration with civil servants.
• Strong planning, forecasting and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience

• SC-cleared or SC-eligible.
• Proven experience delivering digital services in line with the GOV.UK Service Standard and GOV.UK Service Manual.
• Experience supporting service assessments across the Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases.
• Proven experience working as a Delivery Manager at SFIA Level 5, including leading or coaching other delivery managers.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing risks, issues and dependencies across multiple teams.
• Experience working within government governance structures and collaborating with civil servants.
• Strong planning, forecasting and delivery reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience working with central government departments.
• Familiarity with the Government Digital and Data (GDaD) framework.
• Agile delivery certifications, such as Scrum Master or SAFe.
• Experience supporting cyber security or data-related programmes.
