Job summary

Anson McCade in London is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Programme & Transformation Management team. You will take ownership of delivery across complex transformation programmes, manage governance, risks and dependencies, and work directly with senior client stakeholders to keep initiatives moving forward.

I’m supporting a leading change and transformation consultancy looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Programme & Transformation Management team in London.

This is not about being a career Project Manager.

They’re looking for a strong consultant who has developed solid delivery experience early in their career and is now comfortable taking ownership of projects, workstreams and senior client relationships.

The work could include:

• Leading delivery across complex business, digital and technology transformation programmes.
• Managing project plans, governance, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Working directly with senior client stakeholders to solve problems and keep delivery moving.
• Leading teams and coordinating activity across multidisciplinary environments.
• Helping clients turn strategic objectives into practical and achievable programmes of work.
• Contributing to wider client relationships, account growth and the development of the consulting practice.

You’ll work in an environment where Senior Consultants are expected to take genuine ownership of delivery, build trusted client relationships and influence decision-making rather than simply operate as one part of a large delivery structure.

I’d be interested in speaking with people who bring:

• Around 4–7 years of experience, ideally within management consulting, advisory or professional services.
• Strong project, programme or transformation delivery experience.
• Exposure to digital, technology or large-scale business transformation.
• Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders.
• A degree and a strong record of career progression.
• A stable career history and an ambition to continue developing within consulting.

The strongest profiles are likely to be people who have progressed quickly through a good consulting environment and are already beginning to lead delivery independently.

You do not need to have spent your career with a “Project Manager” title. Backgrounds across transformation consulting, programme delivery, digital change and strategic delivery could all be relevant.
