Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking a Senior DB Pensions Administrator to join a specialist pensions administration team in Gloucester. The role covers a wide range of defined benefit pension tasks and requires accuracy, strong numerical ability, and IT fluency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will manage leavers, retirements and transfers, update systems, and handle correspondence while supporting project work and mentoring junior staff. A competitive package with discretionary bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, timely DB pension administration across schemes
• Manage leavers, retirements, deaths, and transfers
• Update pension systems and databases accurately
• Handle post, enquiries, and correspondence
• Run automated calculations and complete manual benefit calculations
• Produce customer correspondence to standard letters
• Support changes and procedures implementation
• Record time and meet utilisation targets
• Mentor junior teammates and support projects
