Job summary

Assystem Bristol, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Technical Lead to drive the technical delivery of high‑profile defence projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and coordinate with clients under strict safety and regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will own technical quality, manage stakeholders, and contribute to bids. A strong systems engineering background and experience in defence are essential or highly desirable for progression.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering delivery teams.
• Lead technical direction and delivery of projects within the account.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project execution.
• Ensure all engineers understand requirements and applicable processes; support Change Control.
