Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join its Defence & Decommissioning Strategic Business Unit in the UK. You will work on regulated nuclear, aerospace, and defence packages, developing system architectures and requirement specifications with MBSE tools.

The role includes interface management, model-based systems engineering with Capella where possible, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. A SC clearance and UK national status are required or achievable.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, defence) required.
• Engineering or STEM degree mandatory.
• Systems thinking and MBSE processes mandatory.
• SE training desirable.
• SC clearance and UK national status required or able to obtain.
• Experience with DOORS or Capella MBSE tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage requirements specifications.
• Interface management across systems.
• Define system architecture.
• Model system functions and interfaces.
• Use DOORS or Capella MBSE tools to support work.
• Support cross-disciplinary collaboration in regulated environments.
