Job summary

WLG in Wiltshire is seeking a senior delivery professional to anchor delivery between project manager, the customer’s representative and the sponsor. You will ensure the roadmap is realized, sprints are planned and traceable, and risks are named while fixable.

The rhythm is weekly with honest progress summaries and prioritization, leading to formal handovers at contract end. This role requires a decade of defence sector experience, strong Agile/PRINCE2 background and UK security awareness.

Qualifications

• Ten years delivering communications and information systems in defence.
• Proven record of project, programme or portfolio management on complex information systems, applying Agile and PRINCE2.
• Focused programme plans with risk management to prevent issues.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management for delivery.
• Requirements capture, documentation and acceptance criteria written to be tested.
• Development of static and mobile information systems in fast-changing environments.
• Understanding how security and communications requirements shape system design.
• Experience with Agile and SAFe, service transition and service management.
• Excellent spoken and written English; NATO citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Take an active part in roadmap meetings with the project manager, customer representative, and sponsor.
• Review and update sprint planning for consistency and traceability across delivery.
• Write the weekly summary of progress, priorities, dependencies and risks.
• Support Q3 and Q4 2026 sprint and project meetings on site.
• Maintain project tasking: progress reporting, comments, risk identification and issue tracking.
• Use and develop project documentation as the planning tool and repository.
• Support the customer’s embedded representative remotely and in person.
• Run formal knowledge handover sessions before contract ends to ensure continuity.
