Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead contract management and proposal activities for helicopter platforms, including Wildcat and Merlin. You will manage full lifecycle contracts, from new agreements to portfolios, aligning with contractual provisions and company policy.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, ability to price proposals within delegated authority, and a track record in defence contracting.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing complex defence contracts.
• Strong commercial aptitude with ability to price proposals within delegated authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead and prioritise a team in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, prepare and present internal approvals, contracts and other agreements.
• Lead provision of customer proposals and contract amendments as required.
• Execute all commercial aspects of contracts and monitor progress.
• Report on key contract obligations, deliverables and cash flow.
• Proactively resolve contract issues and provide contract advice to internal teams.
• Identify and manage contract risks and opportunities; support business transformation initiatives.
• Provide guidance to the contract management team and other staff as needed.
