Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Advisor to lead branch operations, supervise a team, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will deputise for the Branch Manager, handle keyholder duties, and drive sales while maintaining stock and merchandising standards.

The role offers a competitive salary of £29,500 per annum plus pension and company benefits, with a 40-hour week over five days and Saturday on a rota. Training and development are provided.

• Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Highly motivated with drive to succeed.
• Able to motivate and inspire colleagues to achieve high service levels.

• Willing to learn and progress within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team, deputising in their absence.
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch and maintain Brewers service standards.
• Handle keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and supervisory tasks.
• Allocate work to the team and keep them motivated.
• Use product knowledge to recommend best products for customers.
• Plan and agree sales forecasts with the Branch Manager.
• Manage orders, enquiries and stock within the branch.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide service.
• Promote seasonal items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Support stock maintenance in the branch.
