Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior carbon Consultant to join our UK advisory team. You will deliver decarbonisation consultancy across a broad client base, leading carbon footprinting, lifecycle assessment and carbon management projects in infrastructure and energy sectors.

You will work within a collaborative, hybrid model, supporting bid submissions and guiding junior staff while aligning client policies with net-zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering carbon footprinting, LCA, and carbon management in infrastructure contexts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engagement at all levels.
• Knowledge of ISO14064, PAS2060, PAS2080 and related methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of carbon footprinting, LCA, and carbon management projects.
• Ensure projects meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
• Assess project performance against national and international standards.
• Develop data analysis for carbon assessments with traceable calculations.
• Prepare reports and present results to clients.
