Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior carbon Consultant to join our UK advisory team. You will deliver decarbonisation consultancy across infrastructure projects globally, leading carbon footprinting, LCA, and carbon management work with a focus on quality and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering carbon footprinting / lifecycle assessment (LCA) / carbon management in infrastructure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Collaborative behaviours to maximise stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of carbon methodologies and data sources (ISO14064, PAS2060, PAS2080)
• Awareness of industry decarbonisation initiatives and sustainability issues
• Ability to think strategically while delivering detailed work
• Experience in net zero, carbon in construction, and EIA teams

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of carbon footprinting, LCA, and carbon management projects
• Ensure quality, on-time, on-budget project delivery
• Assess project performance against national and international standards
• Inform project design with regards to embodied carbon
• Provide strategic client advice to align with net zero goals
• Develop data analysis with traceable, robust calculations
• Prepare reports and present results to clients
