Job summary

Flint Bishop LLP is recruiting an experienced Solicitor/Litigation Executive to lead a caseload of defended debt recovery matters in Derby. You will draft pleadings, witness statements and court bundles while delivering clear strategic advice to clients and guiding them through litigation.

Reporting to the Head of Debts Services, you will use Liberate and advanced Excel to produce reports, monitor recoveries, and maximise firm revenues.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in a commercial debt recovery role in a legal firm.
• Experience managing a significant caseload of complex debt recovery matters.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to produce informative reports.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a varied caseload of defended debt recovery matters, including small, fast track, and multi-track claims.
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, court bundles and judgment requests.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and guide them through the litigation process.
