Job summary

Lane Clark & Powell LLP is seeking a Senior DC Pension Consultant to join our DC division in the UK. You will manage client relationships, oversee governance, and collaborate with investment colleagues to tailor advice for each client’s membership and circumstances.

The role emphasizes governance, master trust reviews, wind-up advice, and involvement in new business pitches within a leading DC consultancy. A PMI qualification is preferred, with relevant UK DC experience and strong investment

Qualifications

Ideally PMI qualified with post-qualification experience or FIA, FFA or CFA.
Experience in the UK DC pension scheme advisory sector in a consultancy.
Investment knowledge is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Build and lead client relationships, identifying needs and driving client outcomes.
Involve in new business pitches for DC consultancy work.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market practice, legislation and DC governance.
Lead and support on projects, including master trust / GPP reviews and buy-out/wind-up advice.
Manage a portfolio of clients with ongoing governance and stakeholder collaboration.
Work with investment colleagues to tailor advice to membership and client circumstances.
Draft advice to a standard you are happy to sign off.
Contribute to DC research on master trust / GPP providers and related outputs.
Provide leadership and guidance within a team environment.
