Job summary

Front Row Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Administrator for a Defined Benefit team within a pension consultancy. The role focuses on prioritising workload, supporting the Administration Manager, and delivering high-quality pension administration services to clients under SLA deadlines.

Applicants should have strong DB knowledge and around 3+ years of technical experience, with excellent numeracy, communication, and organisational skills. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
• Ability to perform pension calculations (leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers).
• 3+ years of technical experience in DB pensions from third party or in-house.
• Excellent numeracy, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise day-to-day workload of the Defined Benefit team.
• Assist Administration Manager to ensure team runs smoothly.
• Provide pension administration services to clients with SLA deadlines.
• Handle complex pension tasks such as calculations and scheme project work.
• Act as a point of contact for portfolio of clients, trustees and senior scheme members.
• Participate in annual projects such as renewals, benefit statements and pension increases.
• Provide input regarding process and procedural change.
• Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
