Job summary

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Developer for the Information & Performance Department on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on developing and supporting the Trust’s Data Warehouse and BI systems, ensuring integration with Oracle Health (Cerner) as part of the EPR rollout.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in database management.
• Experience with MS SQL Server in a complex NHS environment.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and programming techniques.
• Experience in data warehousing and translating user requirements into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain the information and business intelligence database systems including the in-house Data Warehouse.
• Develop and enhance web-based reporting and manage third party databases.
• Recommend improvements to streamline and enhance processes for production and information use.
• Provide guidance as a senior specialist to project managers, IM&T staff, and external developers.
