Qualifications

• Significant experience in data science or machine learning in a commercial setting.
• Advanced capability in Python and SQL.
• Strong grounding in statistics, ML, experimentation and model validation.
• Proven impact from data-driven projects across customer or business outcomes.
• Experience with segmentation, propensity, lifetime value, personalisation or forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data science initiatives from problem definition through modelling, validation and implementation.
• Build predictive and ML solutions across priority customer and commercial use cases.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques to uncover behaviour, patterns and opportunities.
• Design rigorous experiments and measurement approaches to reveal incremental impact.
• Set best practice in feature engineering, validation, reproducibility and model evaluation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to productionise high-value analytical solutions.
• Guide model monitoring, drift management and ongoing performance.
• Turn sophisticated analysis into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Mentor data scientists and provide technical leadership across the team.
