Job summary

The Travel Corporation is building a cutting-edge Data & AI capability. This role will design and deliver data products powering analytics, data science and business decisions across a global portfolio, using Snowflake, SQL, Python and dbt.

Qualifications

• Substantial data engineering experience in production-scale environments.
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python.
• Strong Snowflake experience, or equivalent cloud data platform.
• Proven ELT/ETL design and analytical data models.
• Practical experience with dbt, orchestration frameworks, Git and CI/CD.
• Commitment to data quality, testing and observability.
• Ability to lead technically and mentor engineers.
• Experience with complex customer, transactional or behavioural datasets.
• Experience in an agile, product-led delivery environment.
• Exposure to data products that support data science or AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, production-grade pipelines and reusable data products that teams across the business rely on.
• Model key customer and commercial entities to provide a single source of truth.
• Engineer solutions in Snowflake, SQL, Python and dbt.
• Raise the bar on testing, data quality, observability, version control and CI/CD.
• Tune workloads for performance, resilience, scalability and cloud cost.
• Lead technically through design reviews, code reviews and mentoring.
• Partner with Data Science, Analytics, Product and Architecture to unlock advanced analytics/AI use cases.
• Define reusable engineering patterns to lift platform maturity.
