Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive technical execution and innovation within our data organization. You will translate complex business challenges into scalable data products and production-ready models, operating with high autonomy from exploration to deployment.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to optimize operations, refine marketing, and enhance customer experience, while upholding engineering rigor and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied experience in Data Science or ML Engineering delivering production-ready models.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency; hands-on with the Python data stack (pandas, NumPy) and common ML frameworks.
• Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS or GCP), CI/CD, Git, and ML Ops.
• Ability to connect technical metrics to business outcomes and explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build from Scratch in a 0-to-1 environment; write complex SQL, engineer features, and deploy baseline models quickly.
• Own the full model lifecycle from data extraction to deployment, A/B testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Finance to translate model outputs into actionable insights.
• Write clean, production-ready code and participate in peer code reviews; drive project milestones and mentorship.
