Job summary

Hims is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive production‑ready ML solutions that impact business outcomes. You will translate complex data challenges into scalable models, spanning data extraction, feature engineering, experimentation, and deployment.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing to optimize campaigns, improve user experiences, and inform strategic decisions, while maintaining engineering rigor and robust ML ops practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied experience in Data Science or ML engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with the Python data stack.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to translate technical metrics into clear business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end model lifecycle from data extraction to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Finance to define requirements.
• Develop scalable data products and machine learning models.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
