Job summary

LHH in Reading, United Kingdom, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape data strategy and drive data-driven decisions across marketing and commercial teams.

You will lead end-to-end projects, collaborate across disciplines, and apply advanced ML techniques to uncover trends and opportunities. A strong communicator will translate complex results for diverse stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or related field
• Strong Python, R and SQL skills
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow/Scikit-learn)
• Excellent communication and problem solving
• Degree in Data Science/Statistics/Math/CS, MSc or PhD advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis to deployment.
• Collaborate with marketing, creative and technical teams to define requirements.
• Apply advanced statistics and ML to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate analyses into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations in an engaging, accessible way.
• Mentor junior data scientists to build capability and best practices.
