Job summary

MarketCast UK is seeking a Data Scientist II for its Data Science Consulting team. Based in London or Reading, you will lead advanced data science projects, build predictive models, and create interactive dashboards to convey insights to stakeholders.

You will work with Python, SQL and Pandas, deploy models to production on our AWS data platform, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining strong client relationships and clear objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of independently managing client engagements.
• 5+ years’ experience in the Data Science domain.
• Experience in managing DS projects independently.
• Strong knowledge of statistical / ML techniques and production deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s a plus.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python & Pandas.

Responsibilities

• Lead, define and implement solutions to moderately complex client problems.
• Support the growth and success of teammates.
• Evaluate improvements to maximize business value.
• Manage client relationships and expectations with minimal assistance
• Oversee large projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Deploy and evaluate ML models in production.

• Use Python, SQL and Streamlit for reporting on our AWS data platform.
