Job summary

Haleon plc. seeks a senior data scientist to join the Global AI & Data Science team in London.

You will build ML models for marketing, commercial and digital, and work with data engineers and ML engineers to deliver high-impact data-driven solutions. You will deploy models, monitor performance, and use probabilistic programming and time-series methods to surface actionable insights for trade promotions and pricing.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Data Science or related field with strong modelling fundamentals.
• Extensive experience building ML models and production pipelines.
• Strong ML algorithms knowledge and time series forecasting expertise.
• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL for data science tasks.
• Experience with Bayesian methods and probabilistic programming.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating and evolving data science models for Marketing, Commercial and Digital.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers and ML engineers to deploy solutions.
• Prepare datasets to train and validate models.
• Define metrics for model performance (CPU/memory, ML accuracy).
• Support deployment of models, including containerization and versioning.
• Manage lifecycle of models: monitoring, retraining, redeployments.
• Leverage external data for insights on promotions, pricing and digital shelving.
• Drive marketing automation and audience targeting.
• Conceive and implement statistical models and MVTs for business decisions.
