Lloyds Banking Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Risk Manager, Data & Privacy to provide independent risk oversight of data-related risks across the organisation.

You will influence decisions on governance, controls and frameworks while supporting innovation safely, including AI and cloud technologies.

This senior second line role requires extensive experience and the ability to translate complex topics into clear actions for business and risk leaders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data risk, governance or related risk field within a complex organisation with experience of risk frameworks, oversight and lifecycle data controls.
• Experience translating complex technical/regulatory topics into clear risk insights and actions for business and risk leaders.
• Experience with modern data environments including cloud platforms and AI.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior decision-makers and drive risk outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line supervision across business areas, pivotal initiatives and transformation programmes, evaluating governance and controls related to data risks against risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
• Deliver evidence-based risk opinions and recommendations to inform decision-making, remediation and investment priorities; contribute to data risk policy and framework development.
• Monitor data risk landscape, identify emerging risks and improve risk reporting, metrics and oversight to enhance risk visibility and timely action.
