LLOYDS BANKING GROUP is recruiting for a Senior Risk Manager, Data & Privacy. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with two days per week at an office site, and a salary in the range of £85,493 to £100,580.

You will oversee data risk, governance, and privacy risk management as part of the Data & Privacy Risk Specialist team, ensuring risk controls align with appetite, regulatory expectations and the Group Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in data risk, data governance, data management or a related risk field within a complex organisation.
• 7+ years' experience translating complex technical, architectural and regulatory topics into clear risk insights and actions.
• 7+ years' experience working with modern data environments and technologies, including cloud platforms, analytics, AI and data architecture.
• 7+ years' experience communicating risk insights to senior decision-makers and driving positive risk outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line supervision, scrutiny and risk assessment across business areas, evaluating governance, controls and frameworks for data-related risks.
• Deliver evidence-based risk opinions and recommendations to inform decision-making and investment priorities.
• Monitor and assess the data risk landscape, identify emerging risks and control weaknesses, and improve risk reporting and oversight.
• Provide supervision across major change programmes and new technologies, including AI and cloud, strengthening risk management and business outcomes.
• Build relationships across the three lines of defence to influence effective risk oversight and positive customer outcomes.
