Job summary

EXL is seeking a senior Data Modeller to design, develop and maintain enterprise data models enabling analytics, BI, AI and ML initiatives. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions, ensuring data is well-governed, structured and optimised for performance across the organisation.

You will define data architectures, source-to-target mappings and contribute to data modelling standards while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of data modelling / implementation experience.
• 8+ years in data architecture, data modelling or similar.
• 5-7 years of management experience.
• Experience with dimensionally modelled data and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable data models for analytics, BI and AI initiatives.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Define source-to-target mappings and data flows.
• Develop metadata, data dictionaries and documentation for governance.
• Collaborate with development, architecture and business teams to ensure alignment with standards.
• Provide guidance on data modelling and integration approaches.
