Job summary

EXL is seeking a Senior Data Modeller in London to lead enterprise data modelling across data lake and data warehouse initiatives. You will set design principles, govern data assets, and align with London Market standards and regulatory frameworks where applicable.

You will mentor teams, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data architecture direction in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the insurance data domain.
• Experience with London Market standards and regulatory frameworks desirable.
• 5-7 years of management or technical leadership experience.
• Experience with data modelling tools and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-scale data lake and data warehouse solutions.
• Establish and enforce design principles, standards, and naming conventions.
• Create high-quality data models for priority domains and expand across the enterprise.
• Define data governance processes and ownership.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead and support setting the data architecture direction and ensure compliance with standards.
