Job summary

Ofgem, the UK energy regulator, is seeking a Senior Manager Data Governance to lead the development of governance, standards and frameworks for smarter regulation and improved decision-making. The role is part of a new data transformation team with a focus on embedding practical governance from the ground up.

You will influence data management, translate regulatory needs into governance solutions, and drive cultural change through coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong background in creating and maintaining data governance policies, controls, processes and standards.
• Experience improving quality and usability of complex datasets and embedding new frameworks.
• Ability to translate business or regulatory needs into governance deliverables and practical solutions.
• Experience working across policy, analytical, digital and technical teams.
