Job summary

M&G plc is seeking an Integration Leader to shape a modern data platform and lead a high-performing data engineering team. You will own ingestion, transformation, and data provisioning on a Snowflake-centric platform, implement medallion architecture, and set data engineering standards including DataOps and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Significant data engineering experience, with leadership of data engineering teams in financial services or asset management.
• Hands-on Snowflake implementation experience, ideally in asset management.
• Deep knowledge of modern data platform architecture (medallion/lakehouse, ELT and data modelling).
• Proven track record delivering data products with AI/analytic readiness.
• Experience embedding data governance (catalogue, quality, lineage, observability) into delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own design, build and optimisation of ingestion, transformation and data provisioning on a Snowflake-centric platform.
• Lead the implementation of medallion architecture and data standards for data pipelines.
• Build reusable data patterns, ensure data contracts, metadata and certification in every product.
• Mentor and develop data engineers across the UK and offshore teams; promote a one-team culture.
