Job summary

Cloud People is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to empower a wealth management client with sharper, reliable data insights. You will own the end-to-end data flow from pipelines to semantic models and dashboards, delivering trusted analytics.

You will work on Power BI, DAX, SQL and PySpark within a modern Fabric-powered platform, ensuring governance, security and regulatory alignment. Remote with one on-site day weekly in London or Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, semantic modelling and DAX.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimisation.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines in PySpark.
• Familiarity with data governance and regulatory considerations in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain semantic models and build Power BI dashboards and reports with well optimised DAX.
• Develop complex SQL, stored procedures and transformation logic to support reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain scalable PySpark pipelines for large-scale data integration and processing.
• Support the development of a modern data platform with Fabric, Lakehouse, data pipelines and analytics.
