Job summary

Noir Consulting seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform end to end in a remote working arrangement. You will set standards for data modelling, security and governance while shaping data products and guardrails for AI agents that underpin our data-driven decisions.

The role requires deep SQL/T-SQL on SQL Server / Azure SQL, strong Python (PySpark) capabilities, and experience with Databricks, Synapse or Microsoft Fabric, plus Power BI semantic modelling.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL and T-SQL on SQL Server / Azure SQL.
• Data modelling experience and strong Python (PySpark).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks / Synapse and Delta/Parquet.
• Power BI semantic modelling proficiency and data protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the data platform end to end.
• Design data products, contracts and guardrails for AI agents.
• Set standards for data modelling, security and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
