Job summary

Frasers Group Financial Services is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and maintain our data infrastructure. You will develop scalable data pipelines, ensure data integrity and security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision making in a regulated retail environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, data integration and BI reporting.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions, e.g. Snowflake and optimisations.
• Significant SQL experience.
• Experience and knowledge of transformation tool DBT.
• Understanding of RBAC and Data Governance concepts.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with modelling data for PowerBI.
• Knowledge of data modelling and architecture best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and prioritisation.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced environments and deliver solutions.
• Self-motivation with keen attention to detail.
• Experience analysing data requirements and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues within data platforms and provide maintenance to data systems.
• Collaborate with data team and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security best practices.
• Document data engineering processes and provide reports on system performance and data integrity.
