Solera is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Service Delivery team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data products that support analytics and operational decision‑making across the organisation.

This role ensures data reliability, accessibility, and alignment to business needs, working across diverse data sources and platforms to deliver production‑ready solutions that scale with the business.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
• Architect scalable, reusable data pipelines and frameworks balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
• Implement incremental loads, schema evolution, and data contracts for production pipelines.
• Monitor and maintain pipelines with logging, validation, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with BI, analysts, and architects to meet datasets SLAs and reporting needs.
• Lead complex incident investigations and root‑cause analysis to drive remediation.
• Review and improve code, pipelines, and models for quality and reuse.
• Translate requirements into technical designs with constraints, SLAs, and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards across the team.
