Job summary

Frasers Group Financial Services is seeking a data engineer to design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making across FGFS. You will build scalable pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data governance and security, and champion continual improvement with Snowflake, SQL, DBT, Python and Power BI.

Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions, e.g. Snowflake.
Significant SQL experience.
Knowledge of DBT and data transformation tooling.
Understanding of data governance concepts and RBAC.
Experience with Power BI for data modelling and reporting.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for multiple sources.
Troubleshoot data issues and provide platform support.
Collaborate with the data team, analysts, and stakeholders to meet business needs.
Ensure data governance, security and regulatory compliance.
Document data engineering processes and report on system performance and data integrity.
Stay current with industry trends and implement improvements to data pipelines and architecture.
