Job summary

Opencast is seeking a data engineer to help organisations transform how they manage, use and learn from data. You will build modern lakehouse and warehouse platforms in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and other data technologies, while modernising legacy environments and migrating complex workloads.

You will work across the full data lifecycle, collaborating with architects, analysts and client teams to solve challenges, mentor junior engineers, and help shape engineering standards as the capability

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data engineering projects in cloud platforms.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and consultants.
• Strong collaboration with architects, analysts and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering initiatives across integration, migration, modelling and platform design.
• Mentor and recruit, shaping the capability of the data engineering team.
