Job summary

Prize Placements is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Hertfordshire on a hybrid basis (2 days in office). You will drive automated data pipeline development from requirements gathering to data modelling, reporting and supporting the business.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL and Python, MS Fabric, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. A strong emphasis on collaboration with Engineering teams and delivering data products to internal stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with MS Fabric experience.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) for visualisations.

Responsibilities

• Understand data pipeline requirements with Engineering Operations.
• Design and implement data pipelines in a modern data stack including ETL/ELT, data warehouse and analytics environments.
• Deliver data reporting and visualisations to the business.
