Job summary

TXP is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and own production-grade data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and related Azure tech. You will work with Data Architects, Engineers and Scientists on large-scale, regulated clients across the UK, delivering governed, scalable data platforms and analytics-ready datasets.

The role emphasizes ownership, quality and collaboration, with hybrid UK-wide projects and a strong focus on modern data engineering practices.

Qualifications

• We’re seeking candidates with production data pipeline experience in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and window functions.
• Hands-on PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Lakehouse architectures and cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Develop scalable batch and incremental data pipelines in Fabric.
• Optimize PySpark notebooks for large-scale transformations.
• Create robust Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions within OneLake.
• Design data models for analytics and reporting; write performant SQL.
• Implement data quality, governance and CI/CD across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
