Job summary

Reed is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and scale enterprise data solutions in the UK. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, leverage Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable analytics capabilities.

You will mentor colleagues, drive data governance and best practices, and participate in architectural decisions while enabling Power BI-powered insights for the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing scalable data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services and modern data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on Python or PySpark development.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Support data warehouses, lakehouses and analytical platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and business stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, security and quality practices.
