Job summary

Immersive Labs is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Bristol, UK. You will collaborate with Data Analysts and Analytics Engineers to develop and refine customer-facing reporting, shaping a key part of our SaaS product. The role requires a driven, curious, and collaborative mindset and offers a hybrid work setup.

You will design Python applications, maintain data pipelines, and work cross-functionally to deliver insights while applying best engineering practices and tooling across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with experience using Plotly for customer-facing reporting; Flask and SQLAlchemy are a plus.
• Experience maintaining data pipelines, infrastructure as code, and implementing data model changes.
• Strong SQL skills in cloud data warehouses and performance optimization; familiarity with dbt, Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker and with AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high quality Python applications for customer-facing reporting.
• Maintain and develop data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to implement data model changes and enable data access for the business.
