Job summary

Tech4 is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of the cloud-based data platform using SQL, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate across the Data & BI team to scope and redevelop data solutions for enterprise reporting and analytics.

The role requires strong SQL, Python and C# skills, with experience in ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing concepts and GDPR-compliant data handling. Hybrid work from Oxford is supported.

Qualifications

BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years in Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory and Fabric.
Experience in Azure Data Warehousing; NoSQL bonus.
Advanced SQL CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps.
Proficient Git for version control.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the cloud-based data platform and ETL workflows.
Analyse information requests from business units to drive enterprise reporting.
Design, implement and maintain data stores (warehouses, marts) for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with developers, product owners and analysts to design database applications and ETL jobs.
