Job summary

Tech4 in Oxford is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead cloud data platform development, enterprise reporting and BI initiatives. You will work with Azure SQL, ADF, Fabric, Synapse, and BI tools to deliver scalable data solutions for clients and internal teams.

You will design, implement and optimize ETL processes, maintain data quality, and collaborate with engineers, product owners and analysts. The role is based at our Oxford head office with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 5+ years' experience in Azure SQL Server 2022, ADF, Fabric, Synapse.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Python, and C# in data platform context.
• Knowledge of GDPR/security and Agile/SCRUM with offshore collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based data platform for the organisation.
• Analyze information requests and drive enterprise reporting for stakeholders.
• Write data import/export scripts; ensure data integrity across systems.
• Design scalable data architectures and ETL/ELT processes.
• Create documentation, data dictionaries and data flows.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners and analysts on developments.
