Job summary

Tech4 Ltd in Oxford is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & BI Team. You will help develop and maintain our cloud-based data platform, driving enterprise reporting and data governance.

You will work with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB and Power BI, collaborating with offshore teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions on a hybrid pattern from our Oxford head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years in data engineering or related roles.
• Experience with Azure data stack and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL with ETL/ELT emphasis and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based data platform.
• Drive enterprise reporting and data quality.
• Automate data import/export scripts while preserving integrity.
• Design scalable BI data stores and metadata logging.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into BI specifications.
