Peaple Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer in Milton Keynes for a hybrid role. You’ll design and build data pipelines on Snowflake/dbt, lead architecture decisions, and guide engineers while engaging with clients to translate complex data problems into practical solutions.

You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, raise the bar on testing, CI/CD, and data quality, and contribute to a UK team that collaborates with a global data and AI consultancy.

Formación

• 4+ years’ commercial data engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience, ideally alongside dbt.
• Deep SQL and solid data modelling, with dimensional modelling, ELT and production pipelines in your bag.
• Confident in front of clients and stakeholders, with ability to explain complex ideas simply.
• Experience guiding or mentoring other engineers, formally or informally.

Responsabilidades

• Making the key technical calls on architecture, data modelling and engineering standards.
• Leading client conversations: understanding their problems, shaping the solution and explaining technical decisions in plain English.

• Raising the bar on testing, CI/CD, documentation and data quality across projects.
• Working across a varied client base, sharing what you learn with the wider practice.

Milton Keynes | Hybrid, 2 days in the office | £60,000 to £65,000

A senior engineering role at a global data and AI consultancy, joining a small UK team just as a new Snowflake project gets going. You’d be the one shaping the build, guiding the engineers around you and earning the client’s trust.

What you’ll bring

• Databricks or Fabric experience is a plus, but Snowflake is the priority
