Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Lead Snowflake Engineer in London, hybrid role, to lead Snowflake data platforms and large-scale cloud transformations. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data modernization and AI-ready analytics.

You will work hands-on with Snowflake, Snowpark, Snowpipe and related services, with a focus on performance, governance and cost efficiency while guiding delivery and best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Snowflake solutions in production environments.
• Experience leading engineering workstreams or technical teams.
• SnowPro Core Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable Snowflake data platforms.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Deliver enterprise-scale cloud migration and data modernisation programmes.
• Create AI-ready data products for analytics and ML use cases.

Lead Snowflake Engineer - London (Hybrid) - Snowflake - AWS/Azure/GCP - Up to £80,000

You Will Work With

• Leading the design and delivery of scalable Snowflake data platforms
• Building and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python and Snowflake-native technologies
• Delivering enterprise-scale cloud migration and data modernisation programmes
• Creating trusted, AI-ready data products for analytics, machine learning and AI use cases
• Working with Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks and Dynamic Tables
• Driving best practice across data engineering, CI/CD, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Leading stakeholder workshops, technical discussions and solution design sessions
• Optimising Snowflake performance, scalability, governance and cost efficiency
• Mentoring and guiding engineers through technical reviews, quality assurance and delivery best practice
• Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes

Key Experience

• Proven experience delivering Snowflake solutions within production environments
• Experience leading engineering workstreams or technical teams
• SnowPro Core Certification
• Strong SQL and Python development skills
• Experience building cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks and Dynamic Tables
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT and modern data architecture principles
• Experience optimising Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability and cost management
• Knowledge of data governance, security, lineage and role-based access controls
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code and Terraform
• Experience enabling analytics, machine learning and AI-driven data solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
